Intel announced that Wintec's initial offering of DDR2 800MHz unbuffered modules have successfully passed Intel's PMO system validation on reference platform design based on the Broadwater board. This is a significant achievement for Wintec as it further demonstrates our ability to product quality, cutting-edge memory modules designed for the latest motherboards available.

Wintec Industries|PVA Enterprises form strategic alliance bringing electrical interuption protection to world markets
Fremont, CA - April 2006
Wintec Industries, Fremont, California has entered into a strategic alliance with Northbrook, Illinois-based PVA Enterprises Corporation. As part of the agreement, Wintec will market, warehouse, sell, and distribute PVA’s Spike Block™ transient filter products. These products bring superior electronic protection packages to industry and government by protecting semiconductors from ground transients which create lock up, degradation, and shut down.

“Wintec has a significant worldwide presence in the electronics industry. With its emphasis on providing products to increase electronic reliability and companion customer satisfaction, Wintec is an ideal channel partner for PVA. Wintec is positioned internationally to bring our component product to a multi-billion dollar industry in need of embedding electronic reliability,” said Gary Elkins chairman of PVA Enterprises.

Wintec is the premier services and solutions provider for the electronics industry; Spike Block products are a natural complement to the products manufactured and/or brought to market by Wintec.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to offer our customers a genuine innovation in the protection of electronics. PVA’ s approach of “embedding reliability” serves the OEM market and provides the missing piece to the electronics reliability equation - the ability to filter transients on the ground line,” said John Wickham, Director of OEM Relations.

PVA brings the Spike Block transient filter product to connect in series with the ground line of electronic equipment. The products protect increasingly faster semiconductors and microprocessors from low to high energy high speed transients. The ground line is the one line unprotected by traditional surge suppression and UPS’s.

“PVA’s protection addresses a range compelling needs faced by industrial, commercial and governmental markets,” explained Wickham. “Its multiple applications include kiosks, computers/servers, traffic signal, fire panels, gaming machines and more. These applications are in markets where there are compelling needs for cash flow, productivity, customer satisfaction, and loss prevention.”
